Billa rocks

Ajit ji could be relaxed as his latest movie ‘Kireedam’ is doing very well in theatres.He is committed for the shooting of his next movie ‘Billa’ but he’s currently taking rest for some days after his viral fever.

This mega budget movie produced by Ananda Pictures Circuit and directed by Vishnu Vardhan is made up with telecine print and under process at a lab in Chennai. Those who saw the rushes says the movie rocks even without the background music so just imagine the result once Yuvan will add his touch in this !!

Now some editing works are undergoing with Sreekar Prasad the editor.He was working on a scene where our “Billa Ajit” will fall from a tall building in Malaysia, this shot has been taken 8 times and for each times Thalai has not used any dupe - he himself falls from the building.

We can just imagine that it will be a great stunt scene likewise in Mission Impossible 3 where Tom Cruise will jump from a building…

With all tidbits around the movie, we can just conclude that it will be stylish action pack movie which can compete with Hollywood biggies. Let’s hope for the best and for again a successful year like last year where Ajit was crowned with 2 super hits and a blockbuster

Billa’s shooting schedule

The All star ‘Billa’ team arrived in Chennai last night (on Monday 16th).

The crew is composed by 50 members.The film is actually progressing very fast as 75% of the film shoot is over. It is confirmed news coming from the director Vishnu Vardhan.

The songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja have come out very well; remember the last Ajit-Yuvan combo was successful in the super hit movie ‘Dheena’.

For the moment, Ajit who has been in hospitals due to a fever is forced to rest.Another 2 weeks-schedule has been planned in Malaysia when our Ajith Ji will return to a perfect form.

Then some minor patches and all the remaining shot related to the 2nd character of Ajit has been planned to shoot in Chennai in big sets erected by art director Sabu Cyril.

According to reliable sources, from Tuesday 17th, Vishnu Vardhan is sitting next to the film editor Sreekar Prasad in the editing table. There, some computer graphics has been planned to put into real image technology.

The film has all ingredients to be at the expectations height as many masalas and latest high-tech technology systems and style are including the movie.

In the mean time, the future mum Mrs. Shalini has booked 50 tickets for FDFS (first day first show) of his husband starrer ‘Kreedam’ in Sathyam Theater this coming Friday 20th. We suppose that she would like to watch with relatives and some fans.

Ajith looks forward to parenthood

Ajith is happy at the prospect of becoming a dad. Shalini is expected to deliver the baby coming January.

The doctors have reportedly told Ajith that the 'new entrant' will arrive home tentatively by the second week of January.

Says Ajith, “When I was in Malaysia for the shoot of Billa for more than a month, I visited Chennai for about 18 times to see Shalini. Such is my excitement in welcoming the new member to our family. I am eagerly waiting for that moment”.

When asked about Billa, Ajith said, “The film is coming out in a grand way. The new version will be technically sleek and will be our dedication to 'Superstar' Rajnikanth who immediately granted us the permission to remake the movie. Get ready for the fireworks”.

Billa is now being remade and reinvented in Tamil.Getting into the act will be Ajith. And directing it will be Vishnuvardhan, the modern Tamil director.
